Supporters Jump Out Of A Plane For Brother Lost To Germ-Cell Cancer

The Robin Cancer Trust

Jun 24, 2025

Lauren and Vicki bravely jumped out of a plane in memory of Lauren’s brother to raise vital funds for our work.

OMG... THEY JUMPED OUT OF A PLANE!

We’d like to say a huge well done to Lauren and Vicki who bravely jumped out of a plane at the weekend in memory of Lauren’s brother to raise vital funds for our work.

Lauren sadly lost her brother Liam Phillips to an aggressive form of germ cell cancer in October 2022. Liam was only 31. Since then, Lauren, her family, and friends have raised over £11,000 for us and Farleigh Hospice who kindly cared for Liam and supported the family.

They have completed many events to help raise this amazing amount including walking the entire Jurassic Coast and taking on the Three Peaks Challenge!

Their skydive was originally planned for March, however it was postponed due to the good old British weather! (typical)

But the sun was shining this weekend, so thankfully the rescheduled jump went ahead as planned this time. Judging by the photos, it looks like they both had an amazing experience!

Lauren and Vicki have raised over £950 so far! Absolutely amazeballs. We’d like to say well done and thank you so much for your fantastic continued support. The funds you have raised in memory of Liam will allow us to continue raising life-saving awareness of testicular, ovarian, and germ cell cancers and also provide support to anyone who is newly diagnosed.

To show your support and admiration for Lauren and Vicki, donations can be made to their Just Giving page via the link https://www.justgiving.com/page/lauren-phillips-skydive2803
