Colchester Half Marathon raises an incredible £138,690!

The Robin Cancer Trust

Apr 14, 2026

The Colchester Half Marathon, organised and owned by The Robin Cancer Trust, has raised an incredible £138,690 following this year’s event on Sunday 8 March.

The total raised at the Colchester Half Marathon 2026 was revealed at a special Thank You Sponsors’ Event on Tuesday, where the Robin Cancer Trust revealed the impact these vital funds will have.

Founded in Colchester, The Robin Cancer Trust is the UK’s only testicular, ovarian and germ cell cancer charity. The organisation provides life-saving education, awareness and support to young people across the country, helping to improve early diagnosis and ultimately save lives.

Thanks to the funds raised from the Half Marathon, the charity can continue its vital work, including educating more than 10,000 people each year at freshers’ fairs and workplace events across the UK; engaging over 6 million people online through award-winning awareness campaigns; and empowering over 70,000 young people with bold, life-saving educational materials such as leaflets, cards and stickers.

This year, 3,069 runners completed the 13.1-mile course through the city, cheered on by volunteers and spectators lining the route. The event would not be possible without the dedication of runners, the time given by volunteers, and the generous support of sponsors who all help make the race happen each year.

The charity would like to extend its sincere thanks to the sponsors of the 2026 Colchester Half Marathon:
